JEROME DAVENPORT

Jerome Davenport is an Australian aerosol artist blurring the boundaries of graffiti, muralism and illustration with incredible colour and impact. He masterly combines the unrestricted freedom of street art with portraiture, impacting a relatable vision that the general public can enjoy.

Growing up in rural Western Australia, Davenport’s career blossomed after studying Live Theatre Production. From which he obtained the skills and techniques, which empower him to turn any medium into a canvas. Inspired by nature, decay, beauty, and life itself Jerome’s loyal following and strong community support have allowed him to spread his passion statewide. Being influenced by culture, animals and geometry his style is characterised by his distinctive photo-realism, elaborate portrait pieces which engage and speak to the community on a personal level.

His work has been featured in London Street-art Design (LSD) Magazine, RAW Artist New York and recently has had a work accepted into Australia’s most prestigious portraiture award The Archibald Prize. 

This young and creative, humble yet ambitious soul plans to share his unique streetscape style of art with a global audience. In March 2016 Davenport will embark on a year long trip. Exploring, creating and painting from Argentina to Northern Canada.
